Meet Our Current Members
President:
Catrice Chambers
Catrice Chambers is a senior double major in Public Relations and Communication Studies with a minor in Writing from Wyoming, Ohio. She is an aspiring Sport Publicist. This upcoming school year she will be a Smooth Transitions Core Leader, Co-Chair of University Spirit for the Student Activities Council, Social Media Student Manager for the Xavier Women’s Basketball Team, and the Secretary for Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society. She will also be the President of The Remarkable Rho Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc starting this fall. Outside of campus, Catrice is the COO of Love U To Life and volunteers at Cincinnati AnimalCARE during the summer. She looks forward to creating strong bonds with her sisters and fellow members of NPHC. Catrice hopes to make a true impact with her efforts.

Kaylah Jones
Kaylah Jones is a senior majoring in Health Service Administration and minoring in Business with a concentration in Population Health from Dayton, Ohio. Kaylah will be serving as the Vice President for The Remarkable Rho Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. starting this fall. She will also be the Vice President for Black Student Association and a Smooth Transitions Mentor. She is currently interning at CareStar this summer. Kaylah is more than excited for the new upcoming school year and to represent Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Ivy Leaf Reporter:
Chidera Tagbo
Chidera Tagbo is a senior double major in Biomedical Sciences and French. She is a Nigerian-American from Dayton, Ohio. Chidera will be serving as the Ivy Leaf Reporter, Program Committee Chairman, and Connections Committee Chairman for The Remarkable Rho Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. starting this fall, as well as serving on the Housing Committee for the Great, Great Lakes Region. On campus, Chidera is the Co-President for French Club, an Ernest Just Society Biology Leader, a Smooth Transitions mentor, and the Public Relations Coordinator for the Black Student Association. She also volunteers at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, while being a part time worker at Lululemon. She is looking forward to promoting scholarship, sisterhood, and service for her community. Chidera is beyond excited for the new school year, and the years to come.
Treasurer:
Olivia Ratliff
Olivia Ratliff is a sophomore Biomedical Sciences major with a minor in Gender and Diversity Studies from Gallipolis, Ohio. This fall semester Olivia will be the Treasurer for The Remarkable Rho Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. as well as the event coordinator for SWEAT Club, a TRiO Scholar, a Smooth Transitions Mentor, and the Secretary for the NPCH at Xavier University. Off-campus Olivia works at Ratliff Pool Center. She looks forward to being on the yard for 3 years and continuing the work and dedication of Rho Psi.

Jaiden Jennings
Jaiden Jennings is a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Sciences from Louisville, Kentucky. She is an aspiring Obstetrician Gynecologist. This upcoming school year she will be a Smooth Transitions Mentor, Head Coach for Girls On The Run, a Community Engaged Fellow, and an University Honors Scholar. She will be the Secretary, Financial Secretary, and Membership Intake Chair for The Remarkable Rho Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. starting this fall. Jaiden cannot wait to see the difference Rho Psi will make on campus and has high hopes in creating long-lasting memories.
Graduate Advisor:
Marlo Thigpen, M. Ed
Marlo Thigpen has served as principal and assistant principal for over 7 years. She also owns a consulting business for 17 years. Marlo serves Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated as NPHC Delegate for 4 years, NPHC Financial Secretary for 2 years, NPHC Treasurer for 2 years, Chapter Financial Secretary for 1.5 years, and Graduate Advisor for the Remarkable Rho Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. at Xavier University almost 1 year now. She has also served as the Chair of the Target IV Arts Committee under the Exemplifying Excellence Administration.
